Few cities can claim to be the birth place of a musical legend (one Ludwig von Beethoven), feature in a poem by Byron (The castled of Drachenfels 1816), and was once the capital of Germany.

About Bonn
Founded in the 1st century BC, Bonn is among Germany's oldest cities. It is located on the banks of the Rhine in the state of North Rhine - Westphalia. Bonn served as the capital of West Germany from 1949 until 1990 and was the set of government for reunified Germany until 1999 when the government relocated to Berlin.

The Heart of Europe
You can't be any more central, the Bonn region is located between the Rhine-Ruhr and Rhine-Main regions within reach of three international airports within 15 to 60 minutes (Cologne Bonn, Dusseldorf & Frankfurt), with two connections to the ICE high-speed rail network. The ICE train from Bonn-Siegburg station takes you to Frankfurt Airport in just 45 minutes. Siegburg station is the region's "hub", an astonishing 20,00 people get on or off here daily.

Sustainable Bonn
The only German UN city is home to 18 secretariats, dealing with global topics such as climate protection, desertification, water balance, soil, and species protection. With more than 150 international organisations located around this UN hub, a network was created for leading international conferences on the topics of sustainability as well as for events that are geared toward sustainability. Hence the Sustainable Bonn - as a sustainable conference location - project was established in 2006 located at Bonn Tourismus & Congress GmbH.

Highlights of the Trip
Experience a unique show at the GOP Varité Theatre with world-class artists in a breath taking setting and enjoy the culinary delights of the in-house kitchen. Visit the key conference and event locations of Bonn, enjoy a sundowner overlooking the Rhein at Konrad's Skybar, and visit near by Siegburg and the medieval Monastery. Experience the ICE fast train connection into Frankfurt, to help you understand the overall logistics of the benefits of Bonn's central location, and Germany's excellent infrastructure.

This is a 2 step registration – with attendees needing to apply for both the pre-fam and IMEX.
Applicants to this pre-fam must be accepted by, as well as attend, IMEX. You would need to be in Germany from 18^th May – 21^st May as a minimum, two days and two nights in Bonn, and two days, one night at the show (four days, three nights in total).
The show is from 20^th – 22^nd May 2025, and our group is granted a 2-day, one-night rotation Tuesday 20^th & Wednesday 21^st May 2025 – with the option for you to extend for all three days (Tuesday 20^th – Thursday 21^st) should you need longer at the show, IMEX Ts&Cs apply.

^{Afternoon: Arrival in Bonn by 3pm & check in to the host hotel Dorint Hotel Downtown, Bonn, located on the banks of the Rhein.}
^{16:30: Reception at the GOP Varit}^{é Theatre, guided tour, followed by a three - course dinner and show.}
^{20:00: 'Nightcap@ at the Skybar "Konrads" in the Marriott Hotel.}

^{Morning: See the conference venues in Bonn: Dorint Hotel, World Conference Centre Bonn - WCCB, & Kameha Grand.}
^{Noon: Lunch and tour of Steigenberger Icon Granhotel & SPA Petersberg (former guesthouse of the Federal Republic of Germany - former guests including Queen Elisabeth ||)}
^{Afternoon: Move to the nearby city of Siegburg (9.3 miles / 15km from Bonn) and visit: Kranz Parkhotel, Michaelsberg (KSI), & return via Stella Rhein with excellent views of the Siebengebirge and Schloss Drachenburg.}
^{Evening: Move back to Bonn for the final evening with a site inspection and dinner at the Rheinhotel Dreesen - das Wei}^{ße Haus am Rhein (The White House on the River Rhine)}

All venues visited throughout the Pre-Fam are suitable for all manner of events. Final qualification will be at the discretion of the host Bonn Region Convention Bureau.
